Global Warming WebQuest

The goal with this project was to create a WebQuest that was extremely modest and straightforward. Rather than create a WebQuest of epic proportions, I was interested in designing a project that could be done in one or two class periods (albeit, a science class at my school typically runs about 90 minutes long). My other primary goal was to present the content in a way that fostered student independence and kept teacher-talk to a minimum.

So what exactly is a WebQuest? According to webquest.org

A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. The model was developed by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University in February, 1995 with early input from SDSU/Pacific Bell Fellow Tom March, the Educational Technology staff at San Diego Unified School District, and waves of participants each summer at the Teach the Teachers Consortium. The rubric needs to be cleaned up a bit.

Please leave feedback if you have any difficulties accessing the WebQuest.
